THE ULTRASONIC SAFETY SCAN

During an Ultrasonic Safety Scan, your bike frame is examined using ultrasonic technology to detect internal damage or cracks that may not be visible from the outside. This type of scan is often required by insurance companies to provide formal proof of damage after an accident.

To perform the scan accurately and ensure 100% safety, the frame must be delivered fully disassembled. The cost for this service is €200, including a detailed report. This option is typically chosen for insurance purposes.

Alternatively, we also offer a visual inspection based on our professional experience. While this method is reliable, it does not offer the same certainty as an ultrasonic scan and is generally not accepted by insurers. However, many private clients opt for this inspection. For the most thorough check, we recommend sending the frame disassembled, though we can also inspect a fully assembled frame — please note, in that case, we cannot examine the inside of the tubes. The cost of the visual inspection is €88.
